gutted ep by zygos. is a minimalist Dubstep album as the title surely explains. This is Dubstep at it’s core without the added frills and it’s been done so well. The drum and bass lines are able to shine through and be the stars where normally they’d be the foundation. An undertaking such as this takes some guts. To be able to scale it down to the three fundamentals of Dubstep and still be able to create something worth listening to isn’t a talent that most people have.
