Maeve Steele recently released the four song EP, ‘Barefoot‘. The EP is the type of music that will evoke memories that you’ll want to reflect on. ‘Barefoot‘ has a mello yet upbeat atmosphere that keeps the mood positive all while drawing the listener inwards. Here’s what Steele had to say about ‘Barefoot‘.
I spent last summer traveling back and forth between my hometown in the Bay Area and Los Angeles, Steele reveals, The drive up and down the coast turned into a time of reflection for me, and that’s how this EP came to life. The imagery along the coastline became synonymous with freedom, and that’s what truly inspired Barefoot.
A lot of people will be able to relate to that. I feel like we’ve all have a road trip that inspires those feelings. I’ve certainly had to take many trips from SoCal to NorCal and driving along PCH has both my muse and my inner peace. ‘Barefoot‘ is a great EP to throw on during those trips. I head into Ventura County a lot so it won’t be long before I hit PCH and when I do I’ll be listening to ‘Barefoot‘. You can watch the music video for ‘Full Moon‘ down below.
