AVANTIST by Avantist is an impressive post-rock album by a talented group of brothers.  Their take on the post-rock scene may very well be what moves the genre into the next musical era. Music that stagnates and never evolves will always become stale, so when a band like Avantist appears, you need to pay close attention. This band has all the hallmarks of becoming game changers and we’re eager to see what they’ll do with their music. Will Avantist rise above and take their throne among the likes of other musical game changes such as Nirvana, Prince, Emilio Estefan, Soundgarden, or NIN? Only time will tell.
