Burn It Down Bleedin’ Heart by Jim Howell
Burn It Down Bleedin’ Heart by Jim Howell is the type of album that gives you a bit of nostalgia. It’s Americana folk but in a retro way. Howell’s vocals feel like a blast from the past. It’s familiar and warm-hearted. The music itself is warm, hearty and mid tempo for the most part. The lyrics speak of change and hope in a way that feels like a reassuring friend or a heartwarming story of uncertainty that comes to a happy conclusion. The dark is always followed by the light and maybe we need more of that all around. This is a nice album to have in rotation. Links below to follow Howell and buy or stream the music.!
