Distraction EP by Paper Citizen is a five track pop rock album that is pretty much everything. The album takes us through an introspective time when lead singer/ multi-instrumentalist/ producer Claire Gohst, was going through and overcoming some difficulties. As such the main themes revolve around love, fear, anger, sadness and resolve. The songs are written beautifully. The way Gohst slides and glides those vocals is very refreshing, I haven’t heard an artist do so with such style and grace in a very long time.
