Crypteria’s self titled debut out now!
The self titled debut album by Crypteria contains twelve brutal, death metal tracks, with unbeatable technical precision and sick riffs. The lyrics are philosophical and challenge the reality of our existence and way of life. That’s a broad description so let me explain what I mean. Day in and day out we accept, internalize and process, our experience for any given day. We come to accept it as normal, without question or maybe we question it a little before moving on to the next day. The imperfect world stands before us yet we feel we have no power to change it. The same can be said of those who came before us. However, A small majority may fight for change. Their efforts put on display for all to see, criticize or be inspired by and still we feel powerless.

Eyes are closed, sight wide open-
Trying to fight the weight of conscience.
Siphoning out all life
One shriveled husk at a time.
On hideous display for all to see,
My interpretation probably wasn’t the bands intent but they know what they’re doing here. They are trying to expand the collective conscience and get us to think for ourselves. Ain’t music great, we love bands like this! Have a listen below.
