Extraction by Insurrection
For throwback Thursday we’d like to revisit the 2017 technical Death metal album Extraction by Insurrection. This is an album with some sick riffs and grooves that pair oh so nicely with the monstrous vocals, which are split between English and French. I really love it when bands bring different languages into the mix there is so much connection when done right.
Whether it’s just the flare of the language that gives the song that extra spark, connecting to people with a different language than yours or being able to listen to your favorite songs while learning the language, there is so much we can benefit from this approach. From start to finish the songs are heavy and in full berserk mood. Topics on the album range from politics to social issues, which you will hear the bands, passion and emotions shine through in each of the songs.
