The Virulent Host by Accursed Spawn
Try not to get whiplash from the lightning fast, breakneck pace of the nine track album The Virulent Host by Accursed Spawn. It’s a nonstop thrill ride of brutal metal goodness. The lyrics tackle the depths of the current human condition and the common struggle, to not only survive, but thrive in a world which continues to allow the corporate machine to prey on humanity. Adam Pell (vocals/guitar) had this to say about the title track The Virulent Host:
The Virulent Host grapples with a hypothetical human extinction, told from the perspective of the last person on earth. It is one of our favorite songs on the album and always gets people moving in the pit. Joe and James from Dark Moon Productions did a fantastic job with the video, and Capital Rehearsal Studios was gracious enough to let us take up not one, but both sides of the building.
