Sicky Slip by Eat the Evidence

The Ska Punk band Eat the Evidence have immortalized a somewhat comical yet embarrassing accident at a show in their latest song Sicky Slip. This song is a wacky ode to the tragedy that befell one of the bands roadies. Now, I won’t spoil the fun but to say everyone involved is fine and in good humor. Here’s what the band had to say about their beloved roadie:

“He won’t be there when we need him the most,” says Eat the E’s Tom, “but he still regularly boosts the morale of the band – if only by bringing us tequila mid-set. So it’s nice to give him some recognition. Steve’s foot took some time to heal but he is bouncing around now and ready for this year’s festival season.”

We’re glad to hear Steve is back on his feet bouncing around, not to mention the fact that he inspired a rather fun, albeit quirky, song to dance to. I’m sure it’ll be a hit during concerts! You can watch the video for Sicky Slip below and get the full scoop from the band and Steve! As always, if you like what you hear then let’s keep good music coming by supporting these artists.
