Steel Tray by Colour of the Jungle

The latest single by, “Portsmouth’s garage rock band”, Colour of the Jungle, titled ‘Steel Tray’  talks about how you should hold your head up high, even when life seems to be against you at times. The gritty and raw vocals add to the emotional storytelling, while the instrumentation helps to balance everything out with an upbeat melody that is rather catchy. As a result you really get the full impact of the message coming in loud and clear.

The accompanying video shows a man who is down on his luck, yet still going about his daily life. Regardless of all the trash that is accumulating on him, he continues walking around confidently with his head held high. Never letting things in life, no matter how small, (such a stone in his shoe or his head and stomach hurting from the pills he takes) hold him back. It’s a good reminder that some things just aren’t worth the energy. You can watch the video for ‘Steel Tray’  down below. As always, if you like what you hear then let’s keep good music coming by supporting these artists. Remember to follow the artist and spread the word! Artists Links below.
