Two Car Train recently released their debut single called, ‘The Door‘, which is off their upcoming debut album, ‘Off The Rails’. The song was inspired by an indie film of the same name which you should also check out. ‘The Door‘ is very reminiscent of mid nineties to early 00’s hard rock and heavy metal with heavy guitar driven riffs and all that flare, however, Two Car Train has done those eras justice. Here’s what the band had to say about ‘The Door‘:
The album will be well received because it’s unlike anything out there right now, yet, it has a familiar vibe that harkens back to the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s that takes the listener on a musical journey through which they can relate in a way that can’t be put into words.
I get that. ‘The Door‘ certainly has elements of those decades flowing throuh it. It’s nostalic and at the same time a bit different which gives it a nice bit of edge.
