There is so much amazing music out there that I’m constantly searching through the abyss of the internet and discovering gems like the album ‘Likewise‘ by Frances Quinlan. ‘Likewise‘ is a nine track album about human connection and self evolution. The album itself has a nice ebb and flow to it. Each song has its own individual personality yet come together to make the bigger picture that is ‘Likewise‘. Quinlan takes the listener on a bit of a sonic and emotional journey. The album flows seamlessly through upbeat indie pop, the land of dream pop and even the occasional dark themes. However, even when things are looking bleak there is always a ray of light that shines through.
‘Likewise‘ is a brilliantly thought out and composed album. Quinlan’s well adept at writing songs that feel like they were always apart of your life.
