The Upsetter by KID MOE
Here’s a little throwback for you! I recently came across the 2017 EP, ‘The Upsetter‘ by KID MOE, during the Bandcamp waived fees event and I have to say it’s one hell of an EP! ‘The Upsetter‘ contains six tracks of Punk / Pop Punk tracks reminiscent of late Eighties Early Nineties Punk bands. Think along the lines of ‘39/Smooth’ by Green Day or their better-known early years collection ‘1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours‘. KID MOE does justice to that early Pop Punk style and infuses in your face attitude with genuine heartfelt storytelling for an overall excellent punk rock experience!
Songs like ‘Victim of Reality‘ and ‘Never Compromise’ give you that full blown rebel punk experience. Meanwhile, songs like ‘EM-EE‘ balance things out with that early pop punk energy! ‘The Upsetter‘ is certainly worth checking out. It seems there might be a new project in the works and I’m happily looking forward to it! Until then we’ve got ‘The Upsetter‘ to keep us company and that will do.
