Moonwater by Lorana
Singer songwriter, Lorana has a new single, as well as an accompanying music video, called, ‘Moonwater‘. This song is different from the last single we featured, ‘Countless First Times‘, giving us yet another look into the vast depth this talented artist has. ‘Moonwater‘ is about dealing with emotional highs and lows and blends natural textures with minimal instrumental accompaniment. Here’s what Lorana had to say about ‘Moonwater‘:
This song is about the highs and lows of my emotions. I often experience very high highs, but that means the lows can get really low, which results in me losing that feeling of having a ‘middle ground’. I know that’s just a part of who I am, and I’m learning to accept that instead of trying to change it
That lack of middle ground plays out sonically in ‘Moonwater‘ and it’s done well. The vocals often go from one extreme (the high) to the next extreme (the low), effortlessly.
