Recently Yves Paquet released the single ‘25-28‘ which reminisces over a summer fling that once seemed like it might be something that would last forever. ‘25-28‘ is certainly a summer bop with a laid back feel, minimal instrumentation, and catchy lyrics that will have you singing along enthusiastically. The dreamy soundscape is certain to have you reminiscing over your own summer flings! Here’s what Paquet had to say about ‘25-28‘ :
I grew up in a village in the countryside, like many villages in Belgium. The song is kind of a Mrs. Robinson story about how (mostly) your first summer fling in your small hometown or village isn’t the big love of your life. It’s not the end of the world but at that time it feels like that. I wanted to capture the sound of a summer in my youth.
We all go through that period in life, so I’m sure almost everyone will be able to relate to ‘25-28‘. You can watch the music video for ‘25-28‘ down below.
