True to Life by Shader
Last month Shader released their single, ‘True to Life‘, an upbeat, alt rock banger with an anthemic chorus. ‘True to Life‘ is about a generation’s need to have it all now and the consequences of being unfulfilled because of it. The songs upbeat atmosphere is fun and makes the message easier to digest. The song is less a diatribe on the “entitled generation” and more a “song to sing when we’re in doubt“. Here’s what Stu Whiston had to say about ‘True to Life‘:
“True To Life” is about the “self entitled” generation. Everybody wants everything right now and seldom are ever satisfied. It’s about the grass isn’t always greener, so be happy with what you’ve got because you could lose it all in a flash.”
It’s important to focus on being happy in the now. Tomorrow is not promised and finding happiness in your current status is important. ‘True to Life‘ is a catchy banger that gets that message across!
