Player 1 by Zelha
Zelha recently released the single, ‘Player 1‘, which is off an upcoming debut EP that will be out next year. The single about someone who is manipulative. ‘Player 1‘ has a melancholy atmosphere which adds to and brings out the depth of the lyrics. Zelha’s vocals are beautifully distinctive and full of emotion. The range of emotion expressed so subtly with the vocals gives the listener a sense of being the non existent player two, so to speak. All of which combines to give ‘Player 1‘ an irresistible vibe. Here’s what Zelha had to say about ‘Player 1‘:
I wrote the song about someone who manipulates people’s feelings. I wanted to make a parallel with a video game because to that person it’s all about playing and tricks.
