“I wrote this song to get to the root of the pain. To understand why I carry these complicated feelings about my body,” Lambring says. “I needed to tell the little girl who still lives inside me that I see her and cry with her, and I needed to tell my current self, ‘Yes, of course you feel this way – how could you not?’ Speaking openly about my story has been healing, and bringing it to life in a video has brought another level of healing.”
