Southwood Waltz is the eight track debut album from singer songwriter David Ayscue and it’s all about those moments lived as one transitions into adulthood. The album has a very personal feel to it, almost as though you are listening to someone tell you their most cherished memories. Southwood Waltz  has the overall feel of gentle optimism. Perhaps this is due to Ayscue’s travels mixed with that transition into adulthood. Whatever the case may be, the upbeat feel and overall positive outlook of the album is a breath of fresh air.

I’d have to say Southwood Waltz  is a very clean and well written album and a very nice introduction for Ayscue. It’s heartfelt, beautiful and easily one of the better albums out this year in it’s genre.
