Our main inspiration has always been Eighties and Nineties new wave and English trip-hop. Our sound is a development of that stuff with modern electronics. NKOS is multifaceted because it easily goes from dark to light and it does so without fear.
A band without fear can create greatness and push music into new and beautiful territories. I’m all for that! It will be interesting to see just how this new band develops over time but we can all agree that they are off to a wonderful start!
