‘The Lie’ by Trapdoor Social is an electro pop song that speaks of the ups and downs that people go through in relationships and how people avoid conflict because they want to stay in that relationship. As a result they avoid doing what would secure the relationship which is, working through the problems. We’ve all been there. However, problems don’t go away they grow exponentially and it’s easier to deal with one problem at a time while it is small, than one that has accrued interest.
Other than that, this is a pretty chill summer bop! ‘The Lie’ is catchy and great to dance to. We get a quick rap breakdown and a little guitar solo.
