The alternative Rock outfit, Black Calavera, has been creating quite a stir with their latest gritty single ‘Cigarettes‘. This song has a dark and punchy, beach rock flow to it, with all the spunky attitude of Babes in Toyland added to the mix. ‘Cigarettes‘ theme revolves around a girl who is captivating to a near hypnotic degree of infatuation that she can bring you to your knees. Cigarettes’ is a dream-like take on a ‘song about a girl’. It packs a bit of punch, and that’s how we like it. A lot less wishy-washy nonsense than your average, it’s a wicked track to see out summer 2019.
