Singer songwriter Greta Jaime recently released a new pop single titled ‘A Better Kind‘ which deals with the realization of an ending relationship and what is in the best interest of both parties. Greta takes an interesting perspective here by writing from more of an analytical stance as opposed to an emotional one. Hey, it’s not common and it works on so many levels! Here is what Greta had to say about ‘A Better Kind‘:
A lot of the time it’s easier to tell one side of the story and blame someone else when things don’t work out. In this song, I wanted to do the opposite and write about coming to terms with not being right for someone and realising you’re not in a position to give them exactly what they’re looking for.
We tend to become emotionally invested in our relationships that it’s easy to lose sight of the fact that what we want may not be what we need. I appreciate Greta taking this narrative.
