Future From Here by Hurtling
Hurtling just dropped their ten track debut album called ‘Future From Here‘ and if you’re going to be picking up one Alt Rock, Post Punk album before the end of this year, then make it this one. The album sounds like a modern version of something the legendary band Letters to Cleo might write and it’s just as good too! There are quite a few influences from different genres throughout the album. Everything from psychedelic to pop and quite a bit in between. Yet, it’s blended in such a way that makes the album flow so well from song to song.
The subject matter varies from song to song but you’ll find songs of love and loss and all the emotions found in between throughout the album. The lyrics are thoughtfully written while the music really emphasises the lyrical content. ‘Future From Here‘ is a must have for your collection!
