Stopping by Woods by Graci Phillips
Ok y’all let’s talk. Now last year singer songwriter, Graci Phillips, did ’25 Days of Christmas’ where every day we were treated to a christmas song performance which you can watch on YouTube. Let me tell you, it was the perfect little slice of heaven! Ever since I’ve been wishing there was an album and this year we have been blessed with ‘Stopping by Woods‘, a four track holiday EP. While there are some holiday standards on the album such as ‘ Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas‘ and ‘O Come, O Come, Emmanuel‘, the stand out jewel of the album is the original song ‘Rainy Tennessee‘.
‘Rainy Tennessee‘ is a song that Graci wrote for her husband who misses the snowfall of his hometown and it’s Graci’s music in the purest form. It’s a very sweet and touching song of appreciation and love sprinkled with holiday magic. So Hop over to your favorite music service to listen to the ‘Stopping by Woods‘ EP in full.
