Catawampus by Diamonds on Neptune
So, the Calgarian musicians, Diamonds on Neptune, recently released their single ‘Catawampus‘ which blends a multitude of genres into one unique sound. Never one to follow the crowd, this band likes to write in their own style and ‘Catawampus‘ is a stellar example of that. You will here the essence of genres such as pop-punk, heavy metal, metalcore, etc. which give you that familiar feeling. However, you’ll soon come to realize the subtle and not so subtle differences that make this band one to watch. Here’s what the band had to say about their music:
We think our releases should reach fans on a personal level. That what they are hearing isn’t something they’ve heard before, but is something unique that they can feel was shaped through real experiences and affection towards trying to translate emotions into something people could immediately feel upon hearing.
