Day Terrors by Sleepwraith
A few weeks ago the duo known as, Sleepwraith, released their debut album called, ‘Day Terrors‘ which contains eleven Death Metal songs of the highest caliber. A lot of time and energy when into the album and it shows. From the flawless production right down to every note and beat, no stone was glossed over or left unturned and, as a result, we’ve got an impressive debut album on our hands here. The riffs are super aggressive, the bass is heavy, and the vocals give even more weight to the lyrics, bringing everything together in brutal harmony. Truly everything you could hope for in a debut album. Here’s what the band had to say about ‘Day Terrors‘:
We created an album with little thought as to how it would be received, instead of focusing on making an album that we would want to hear. We’ve always felt that making art with this starting point has created some of the most genuine music out there. Hopefully, our fans enjoy music for the same reasons we do and enjoy this album as much as we do.
That really is the best way to go about making an album, or any art. Sleepwraith did an excellent job and if they keep to their process of making music, I see a bright future ahead for them.
