Air by Vex Red
Vex Red recently released a music video for their single, ‘Air‘, which is off the ‘Give Me The Dark‘ Ep that was released back in November. The song tackles the bands concerns about climate change, the political institutions unwillingness to act with urgency and is their comeback to climate change deniers. That is made apparent in the chorus as the lyrics “Air your grievance, we shut it down / Shed your conscience, we shut it down” are sung in defiance.
Their new EP, ‘Give Me The Dark‘, ushers in a return for the band and a new era of music. It’s been a while since their debut and their new EP shows that they are in it to win it. This new era of Vex Red has a more mature sound and is certainly more conscientious. I’m looking forward to seeing what they will create in the future!
