Debut EP by Metro to Paris
So, while cruising the vast musical depths of the internet I came across the five song debut EP ‘Debut EP‘ by Metro to Paris which came out last year. This indie rock album is a cohesive mixture of progressive rock, folkish elements, and indie alt rock which create a vibrant backdrop for the emotive and somewhat delicate vocals that draw the listener in. Lyrically, the songs are honest and vulnerable which will pull you in deeper for a more intimate connection. The musical composition does a great job of adding balance by adding tension and drama, all of which leads to a thoughtful, passionate and intriguing release.
Overall, I would have to say this is a great EP. I think the band has really found themselves and their sound has come together rather nicely.
