Satin Nickel just released their first full-length album ‘Shadow of Doubt‘. The album traverses the stages a person goes through after experiencing a devastating life event. Between the nine songs on ‘Shadow of Doubt‘ you get a nice mixture of Americana sound. Everything from that gritty darkness to a softer more introspective feel. Each song on this album wanders the path from grief and devastation through to a renewed sense of solitude and freedom,” Hollingsworth continues. “On that journey, we try desperately to pick up the pieces and wonder if we’ll ever be able to trust anyone again. We walk with our heads filled with doubt, questioning our past actions, our current friendships, and anxiously anticipating the events of the future. But ultimately, the goal is not to free ourselves from grief, but to find empowerment in being true to who we are and thinking for ourselves.
