Tafari Anthony recently released the single, ‘No Good‘, which is about the calm after the blow up of a breakup. The lyrics describe coming to terms with the reality of the relationship and why it’s no longer good to be in. Tafari put every ounce of emotion stemming from this experience into the vocals. ‘No Good‘ is a bop and an instant classic! Here’s what Tafari had to say about ‘No Good‘:
It takes a lot of self-reflection to be able to realize these patterns in ourselves and even more to get out of them once we are aware. No Good is the come down and reflection after Centerfold’s blow up! Realizing that you crave the unhealthiness of the relationship. Personally, I often let people treat me like shit for way longer than I should – but once I’m done, I’m done.
I love that Tafari has been building a story with every release. It really draws you in like a good show. You can’t wait to hear what happens next!
