Elephant Girl by Vinok
Vinok recently released the single, ‘Elephant Girl‘, which is about a female with disabilities who has a spiritual awakening and as a result has a transformation. The title, ‘Elephant Girl‘, is inspired by the real life person who was called ‘Elephant Man‘. ‘Elephant Girl‘ places its thematic emphasis on the transformation leading to finding one’s own strength and standing in your power. Lead vocalist Nathalie delivers an impassioned vocal performance that gives voice to anyone who has felt like an outcast. The opening lyrics express the way society demeans people who don’t fit in, be it a disability or any other non-conforming societal standard. After that the lyrics relentlessly put those notions of so called norms to rest. This is some who has found their power and will no longer be made to feel less. I’m here for all of this!
