Luz by Belau feat. Sexto Sentido
Belau recently released the single, ‘Luz‘, which features Sexto Sentido. The collaboration on ‘Luz‘ further expands on the duo’s ‘Colourwave‘ album, which expresses the human experience through sound. The atmosphere in ‘Luz‘ brings in traditional Cuban Folk elements and blends them with modern day electronic elements to create a unique listening experience. The vocals are tender and warm which draws the listener into the near hypnotic sway of the song. Here’s what the duo had to say about ‘Luz‘:
“Luz is kind of a bridge to our future album, it’s a bit different from our earlier releases. This single is a harmonic blend of traditional Afro-Cuban folk music and modern electronica, the lyrics in yoruba and spanish. This song is a spiritual journey for us, it will be the part of Colourwave DLX album with some remixes, reimagined versions and live sessions in April.”
