Young Scum is back at it again with their self titled album that delves into growing older and realizing that time and people close to you are precious. You get a real sense of shedding what is old and no longer serving you to move forward from the lyrics. Despite the melancholy tones of the lyrics, the poppy style in which it’s presented makes you want to dance. It’s that perfect blend of topics that speak to you but in a way where you feel like everything will be okay. All that delivered in a chill, laid back summer sort of vibe.
