Away by Jett Kwong
Jett Kwong newest single Away holds within it the powerful message of the things we let go of in exchange for basic needs. Whether these be our dreams or our rights, Kwong has us considering our choices and contemplating the things we let go or should let go of. Kwong’s unique and experimental approach to such topics are rather innovative and a welcome change of pace. Here is what Kwong had this to say about the song Away and the video
It’s so important to me in general to have women behind the camera, participating in telling stories of women, and the same goes for people of all backgrounds, genders, and heritages
As a person of color myself, it is nice to see greater diversity being integrated into places that historically has been under represented. We live in such a diverse world that the lack of representation is mind numbing. Kwong is doing great things here and the world is better off for it. You can watch the video for ‘Away ‘ below.
