Go-Go by Michael Jablonka is a four track Lo-fi soul rock EP that was born from the inspiration of an old drum machine! The drum machine adds an interesting sonic texture to the EP that can be almost hypnotic at times. Here’s what Jablonka had to say about the EP:
The EP was inspired by an old drum machine I picked up in New York,” says Michael. “I initially started using it as a tool for demoing tracks at home and eventually thought it would be an interesting idea to make it the centrepiece of a body of work.
The drum machine may be the centerpiece of the EP however there is so much more going on. Lyrically you get pulled into the music and almost spellbound with the emotions that are portrayed. You begin to notice the sometimes subtle solos and riffs as a result of the ebb and flow of the music. I truly couldn’t get enough! You will be left wanting more of this breathtaking EP.
