Lynwood (Music Video) by Son of Cabe
The music video for Lynwood by Son of Cabe dropped today and it works on so many levels. On the surface this is really a testament to the less is more philosophy. You have three people in Son of Cabe Logo Coveralls, muted tones, and an up close and personal feel which makes the video feel as though you are the person the lyrics are about. Props to Son of Cabe, not everyone is capable of visually expressing the emotions of their lyrics and I really felt the lyrics watching the video. The muted tones on top of what appears to be an already overcast day really drives home the heavier theme and overall sadness. The cuts in between the different aspects from day to night and from solo to performance are flawless. Then when the chorus kicks in everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves which adds to the bop aspect of the song. Overall it is a great video for the song as it just emphasizes the lyrics and mood!
