Boat by Pip Blom
Pip Blom released their debut album a couple of months ago titled, ‘Boat‘ and if you’re like me and just hearing about them now, then I suggest you turn the volume up and take notice! The ten track, alternative indie rock album, has a spunky attitude mixed with indie surf and a dash of nineties grunge à la Letters To Cleo. The catchy, poppy, indie surf vibe is upbeat and fun which will have you dancing and singing along with all the songs. Every song is a hit! Whether it’s their single ‘Daddy Issues‘ or a the mid album song ‘Tinfoil’ (which is reminiscent of something indie legends, Pixies, would write), you won’t be disappointed.
Honestly, every song is well written which makes it easy to binge listen to the album over and over again. ‘Boat‘ is an impressive debut album worthy of adding to you collections.
