Those Were The Days (Live acoustic version) by Midnight Kids feat. Jared Lee
Singer songwriter, Jared Lee, recently dropped an acoustic video of himself playing a beautiful piano version of the song ‘Those Were The Days‘, which is a collaboration he did with producers, Midnight Kids. We previously reviewed the song here. However, this acoustic piece was worth mentioning because it is so good! The original version is a pop club banger that has a “feel good” atmosphere to it. This acoustic version is a whole different story.
While in the original version you is kind of like meeting up with friends you haven’t seen in a long time and having a great time reminiscing about the past, the acoustic version feels a little sad, as if longing for the distant past. That’s what makes this version beautiful. With it being stripped down you can hear all of the passion fueling the vocals and thus the songs flexibility to transcend different emotional states.
