Pre-Meditated by Triple Murder
The Ottawa band, Triple Murder, just released their six track EP ‘Pre-Meditated‘ and this band has made it their mission to breakdown the barriers that would confine them to one specific genre. Songs like ‘Boogeyman‘ and ‘Crawl‘ showcase more complex musical ideologies whereas a song like ‘Eyes Of Judgement‘ sticks closer to more of the Death Metal genre aspects. All of which make for a well rounded EP. Here is what the band had to say about their new EP:
We believe that it should be received as a wake-up call to the metal industry that you don’t have to confine yourself to a certain subgenre of metal to write heavy tunes. It’s all about having fun and showing off everybody’s musical tastes in the band.
They did a nice job trying to showcase a wide range of musical ideas in a twenty five minute EP. When you consider this is their debut that’s a pretty impressive feat.
