Feel Good Slam Pop For Animals by The Captain’s Son
The Captain’s Son recently released their self produced debut album, ‘Feel Good Slam Pop For Animals‘, which contains a massive fourteen tracks. These indie surf rock tracks are inspired by their predecessors from Sixties and Seventies era surf music. However, the songs also borrow from multiple genres of the Fifties through the Eighties as well. All of which creates for an updated sound for the modern era. Here’s what the band had to say about their single ‘Will It Last?’:
‘Will It Last?’ was written last year sometime and was inspired by moments that feel temporary, especially in relationships,” says Byrd. “Nothing lasts forever as we know, and this song takes a sort of realistic, ‘cynical’ look at it while conveying romantic emotion—mostly in the form of being good without it because you think it’ll end and disrupt you.
This is a great album to listen to on a nice relaxing day while enjoying a day at the beach. You can listen to their first single, ‘Will It Last?‘, down below.
